Bayfest

Bayfest - Bayfest is an arts and entertainment festival that was created in 1976 by The Junior League of Corpus Christi, Inc. as a way for non-profit organizations to celebrate and raise money for their activities. Over the years, Bayfest has grown to be the largest non-profit festival of its kind in South Texas. It is unique in that, unlike other large festivals, it is run primarily by volunteers. Today, Bayfest brings in hundreds of thousands of dollars that benefit various non-profit groups around Corpus Christi. The Junior League of Corpus Christi, Inc. raises money by providing beverages to the thousands of people attending. The 34th Bayfest was celebrated the weekend of October 1, 2, and 3, 2010.
