Mission Statement
The Junior League of Corpus Christi, Inc. is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

Community Unity Statement
The Junior League of Corpus Christi, Inc. as an organization of women, sees our community as a place where all citizens enjoy the privileges of the American dream, free from prejudice against any group while working together in harmony and with mutual respect to achieve a better life for all.

Focus Areas

• Child Welfare
  The Junior League of Corpus Christi, Inc. believes that the welfare of our community is directly related to the well being of our children. For this reason, our League proudly focuses on issues and concerns that affect our young citizens. (August 2010)

  The Junior League of Corpus Christi, Inc. supports and promotes voluntarism as an essential component of our society and will continue to take appropriate action to ensure the effectiveness of the voluntary sector. (April 1985)

  The Junior League of Corpus Christi, Inc. is committed to ensuring that children have opportunities and services essential for their physical, intellectual, emotional, mental and social growth and will continue to take appropriate action to ensure that such opportunities are provided. • Substance Abuse
  The Junior League of Corpus Christi, Inc. strongly supports efforts to combat substance abuse within the family unit and within our community. (March 1987)

• Education
  The Junior League of Corpus Christi, Inc. supports and promotes excellence in education. (March 1988) 

•  Cultural Enrichment
  The Junior League of Corpus Christi, Inc. supports the preservation and development of the cultural, historical, maritime and aesthetic heritage of our city and state, and supports the development of relevant opportunities for cultural enrichment. (March 1991)

  The Junior League of Corpus Christi, Inc. supports the protection and preservation of a clean, healthy and safe environment for our children, ourselves and future generations. (March l991) 

• Youth Violence
  The Junior League of Corpus Christi, Inc. strongly supports efforts to combat youth violence in our community. (May 1998) 

• Teen Pregnancy
  The Junior League of Corpus Christi, Inc. is committed to preventing teen pregnancy and to supporting those programs in our community which work towards that goal. (May 1998)
