With Loving Hearts . . .
JLCC honors the legacies of our dear friends that have recently passed.
In honor of Dr. Michael Torres and his love of reading and learning, a selection of new books will be donated to Miller High School this coming Fall.
In honor of Police Chief Floyd Simpson, JLCC donated to the local chapter of the Special Olympics, an organization that Chief Simpson volunteered with and supported for many years. JLCC purchased 5 large event tents with side walls and 2 large coolers that were used just this past weekend at their 2nd Annual Fire Truck Pull event held at La Palmera Mall.

In support of search and rescue efforts in Wimberley, JLCC donated 16 backpacks, 25 safety vests and 20 whistles. These items were used by volunteers, including many of our own members, this past weekend as they searched for our missing friends and their loved ones. The JLCC Governance Board and Management Team are planning a way to honor current and former JLCC members, Sue Carey, Michelle Carey Charba and Laura McComb, in the months ahead.
