The Junior League of Corpus Christi, Inc. recognizes the benefits of S.T.E.M based learning on a child’s future. Raising Our Children’s Knowledge by Educating Through Science, or R.O.C.K.E.T.S is an established program hosted by many Junior Leagues across the country. Each year, events are programmed to enhance the cognitive skills of children in areas of science, technology, engineering and math while having fun at the same time.
Locally, over 1,000 children have been impacted through R.O.C.K.E.T.S events since the Junior League of Corpus Christi, Inc. incorporated this programming into our focus beginning in 2017.
Join the Junior League of Corpus Christi and the Corpus Christi Science and History Museum for a fun day of learning on Saturday, February 29th – LEAP DAY! Activities will be S.T.E.M based and will include dry ice bubbles, earthquake tables, circuit engineering project, straw rockets, geometric shaping, robotic hands and a demonstration from the West Oso Robotics Team.
